Teenagers sometimes

So as my dancing Diva so nicely put it what every. Do you know I really hate the words what ever. Or really Mom like I've killed some one. Or let us say freakin, or any slang profanity to have us think that they are not cussing. I just really hope they don't talk like that to others. But she is 13 and so nicely put it she will be 14 in 7 day's where oh where did these 14 years go.

Well she got her hair cut and she looks so cute. I just love it. I never wanted her to cut her hair and loved it when it went down past her butt, she also told me she never wanted to cut it. Then the day came and clip clip it was top her shoulders. I have to admit I cried tears at that one.

14 in seven day's can not be true I remember the day she was born my mouse of a child who didn't cry but she squeaked.

So Law student leaves tomorrow sometime and she will be missed so much, It has been great to have her home, I have really enjoyed these three weeks with her. I can not begin to tell you how much I have really enjoyed having my kids all here this year it sure has been different.

So we went bowling, I do find bowling to be fun but we all stink at it.

I didn't blog yesterday

It was a busy day, I now have 2 sick kids and a sick hubby. Law student is leaving this weekend and I am sadden by that. My pass through vapor the one that connects to my computer is broke again.

I had to yesterday finish my month beginning post rent and send out notices. Always the first of the month is horrible. My Emu's came yesterday, I know have boots to keep my feet warm, couldn't beat the sale amazon was having bought them for 29.83 shipped. I am so excited about them, waiting for them to dry as I sprayed them with water protector so they don't get water damaged from the snow and rain. Something I didn't do with my slip on clogg uggs I bought several years ago. But let me tell you those are so comfy.

So I've been posting deals and some of these deals are amazing. Some are one day, some go for a week. If you are looking for deals as we all are I would go to gottadeal.com just browse the on-line deal forum.

So still losing weight and still not smoking. These are two good things for the New year. Lets hope the New Year brings less problems in my life as 2010 was full of them, I am only going to think positive and keep on plugging. Things have to only get better I hope. I have faith that the Lord above will see me through the tough times and show me the path I need to be on.

Solo or no solo

That's the name of the game now, Diva was suppose to get with one of the teachers to learn her solo, she is already so far behind the others on learning the solo. But things happen and can not always be helped. Then the Holiday's and now she is already missing one comp and soon to be another.

This cutting back on dance sucks, she doesn't get to dance like she used to, She doesn't see her friends like she used to and is left out of so many dance related things. But again things happen.

Life just keeps getting in the way of all things, A simpler life would be awesome but we all know that once it starts it snowballs and either direction.

Oh we had a lovely surprise Christmas Morning as we didn't know that Prada was in heat and she was evidentially at the tail end of it, and Amanda's pride and joy Dougie decided he must have his way with her in front of the Christmas tree first thing in the morning as I was waiting for every one to get up.

snow and cold is coming oh joy, I am really not a fan of the cold, But I am not a fan of the heat. Cool and comfy is how I like it no air and no heat. But sub zero and snow is on it's way oh yeah.

Just when I wanted to take down the blow ups down and put them back in the attic for another year, Can not do that when they are wet or damp or I get mold. After the 6th of this month the inside comes down, it always is depressing when that happens and the house gets that dark and dreary look.

well I didn't win the mega Million, Oh wait I didn't play it. I don't play because the chances of me winning is zero to none.

So in the mornings and at night I post deals on a deal site I am a member each day you get 10 entries that count, you can post more than that but only the 10st day count for a contest they run. I won the one at Christmas time, well was third and that was fine with me, I could have won a artisan Mixer which I have always wanted but I chose instead a gift card for 150.00 to Amazon which help greatly in buying last minute Christmas presents for Law student and Business Student. I have fun finding challenges on deals and if I had extra money I could be completely done with 2011 Christmas shopping. If you hit it just right some stores you can find 75% or more off clearance prices. Making 29.99 items a mere 7.00 can't beat those prices sometimes. But these sales always show up between pay periods.

Let me tell you those women who post deals are very protected of the stores they post every day. Well after the 10 from the sites partners I spent my break going outside the box and posted mega ads even thought they didn't count toward the contest they were some great buys.

This new contest ends in Feb and all ready the deals are dwindling, you have to fast now and I don't think they are honouring what every one has been posted it has become a free for all on deals. It's been fun but can be frustrating when you can't find deals from the partners. You have to look at all the sites and take your time.

Day 2 of Lilman being sick

Man who knows what he has, besides a volcano stomach that's all he say's. You can tell he doesn't look good,but trying to figure out what's wrong is fun. we had fun last night some how Diva's phone got a crack in the LCD now if you know any thing about teenage girls losing their phone is like being with out oxygen. Even with insurance it still cost me 40.00 to replace the dang thing. But as of 4:00 pm today she can now breath again as she is tethered to her phone.

So I spent my vacation watching Christmas movies 24-7 gotta love the hallmark channel. Then there are the two new Ion stations which show Ghost Whisper and with out a trace, if I miss it on one channel I can catch it on the other.

My life in tv Ino, hallmark, lifetime Animal planet and TLC is there really other channels.

So did I tell you all I am now 90 day's with out a smoke., I don't know I will pat myself on the back with that one. I am so proud of myself. I also didn't gain any weight over the Holiday season. That one I was worried about, as I did over indulge.

We are now on day 4 of Life a new, it's only going to go up hill from here I can feel it. I had my black beans and rice for New Years Eve did you ??

why does the first always start

With some one in the house sick, Lilman has the flu, well had the flu, Diva has a headache and I am not feeling oh so great. Way to much work at work to stay home. all though if life didn't get in the way I would never work again. Tired of it tired of the people I have to deal with it. The mountains of insane paperwork. But it's a dream to not, well one can dream.

So today marks 90 day's smoke free Yes it can not seem possible but it is. I like that I smell good all day long. don't have to go out in the cold to have a smoke, and my house smells so good.

I had a cold over Christmas and it stayed that way a cold. First time in a long time, It didn't travel past my nose. It felt good not to have cough.

It is weird here with the weather, one day warm, one day cold, snow, melting snow.

Diva's birthday is coming up and we have to see what it on the birthday wishes for her. I already told her two of hers wil not come true they are ones that are not doable right now.

Oh it feels good to be blogging again. Oh well have to see if everything goes today with out a hitch

So first day back was short

First day back was so short as I got a call from the school that lilman was ill. so I had to leave work to go get him, He said he had a volcano in his stomach. Although he seems to be feeling better. Granted I hardly got any work done today but it could be worse.

So during the holiday's I was the moderator of a secret santa for a board a go to all the time. It was an easy job pair off people give them a date to send and then they send a me the delivery confirmation, at first I was just going to moderate this way I knew every one would have someone, I then let three old timers in after the cut off and I joined.

Since money was really tight for us I felt it would nice to get a present, besides I do it every year.

Well every one did there part and sent presents to their SS and every one got theirs but me. Now I was not upset at all as I know things happen and it wasn't a big deal as some one early on had sent me a box with a nice surprise in it.

well these people on the board were just beyond wonderful as I believe I got 7 boxes full of surprises before it was all said and done.

These were gifts from perfect strangers, friends from the Internet. People who felt the need to make me feel like a special person. These people didn't have to do any of this. It is just wonderful to know that there are people out there who care about how you feel.

So vacation is over and we go back to real life

These do nothing vacation just go by really fast. We all had a great time being together. Love having law student here and business student even if he decided to spend the break working can't fault him on that. Last night was so much fun as we played games, and more games ended with a outstanding game of monopoly. Too bad it's work and school today and the older two get to stay home.

It's been relaxing to say the least. They are really good kids and i am the lucky one,. It will be a little depressing as law student leaves at the end of the week.
